Tasting Notes

2006 Clifford Bay Estate Riesling

The 2006 Clifford Bay Riesling was harvested from premium quality vineyards in the Awatere Valley, Marlborough, after a long, slow ripening period.

This wine shows fragrant jasmine and citrus notes on the nose. The palate exhibits layers of lime and spice through to a long, crisp finish.

Reviews

Interesting and juicy. With nectarine flavours and the beginnings of that toastiness that comes with bottle age, this has much to please Riesling lovers.
