2004 Clifford Bay Estate Pinot Noir

Some lightness about this, with a little bit of a floral nuance to solid cherry fruit. On the palate it has lots of tang and brightness, with good cherry and raspberry fruit, and a slick of vanillin oak to round it out. Nice finish on this

" Ripe, fresh cherry aromas with similar flavours on the palate which displays velvety tannins and a long, lingering finish " Highly Recommended

“Immediately attractive Awatere Valley red, fragrant, full bodied and supple. Vibrant sweet-fruit flavours of plums and cherries, showing good freshness and density, and gentle tannins”
Cuisine Magazine November 2005

“Appealing wine with lifted strawberry, red cherry and slightly floral nose. Bright, fresh flavours with a pleasant structure of ripe tannins that leads to a drying finish. A pretty wine with slightly prominent vanilla oak flavours”
