2004 Clifford Bay Estate Sauvignon Blanc

“Musky peppers, smoky herbs, grapefruit pith and honeydew melon on the nose. Dense and brisk with vibrant flavors of pineapple, grapefruit and passionfruit. Firm, bright and crisp, but quite ripe, with nothing green or hard about it. Finishes long and bracing, with a flavor of white grapefruit. Impressive.” - Score 90

“Outstanding. Lovely clean aromatics – citrus, herbs, mineral – great depth of flavour with varietal strength and a lingering aftertaste carried through by a crisp acid backbone. Another very impressive wine from Clifford Bay which is making a habit of winning in the Small Vignerons Awards”
